Planning the day you commit your lives to each other is a fun, yet sometimes stressful phase of life. Engagement sessions are a fantastic way to take a time out and really connect again as fiancees and just enjoy how loved you are.
Choosing a location or activity that you love makes the photos even that much more memorable and treasured.
HEY I’M VANESSA
I'm a Vancouver/Whistler-based wedding photographer. I live for homemade sourdough, golden light, and dog kisses. I believe life is too short to do sh*t you don’t love and that includes how you get married!
I love a good dance party but hate being the centre of attention, and if you feel the same, I believe there is always a way to have both. And I’m here to help you have YOUR “best of both worlds”.

Booking Considerations:
Weekend dates can get booked up fast, especially in the summer, so please book early!
If you're using your engagement photos on a wedding website or as invitations, please book as early as possible so that I have enough time to select + edit your photos.
Sessions will start 1-1.5 hours BEFORE sunset so that we get us that lovely golden light.
Real talk. We live in the Lower Mainland. It rains. Sometimes a lot. I'm always open to rescheduling if the weather doesn't cooperate with us, or we can embrace what makes our city so beautiful + green, put on some raincoats + wellies and go play in the rain!

Let’s get you booked! To get the ball rolling, use the link below to choose which Engagement Session type you’d like to go with.
Once you’ve signed the contract and paid the deposit, I’ll send you a link to schedule your session. NOTE: If the session is part of your wedding package, please be sure to use the discount code I sent you so that you won’t be charged for the session.
On the day of the session, please block off an extra 30 minutes. Typically we're done on time, but I like to give ourselves some extra time just in case we need it. I promise to keep things light and fun and give everyone some breaks throughout the session.
4 - 6 weeks after your session, your photos will be ready! Don’t want to wait that long? My Rush Fee will have your photos ready in just ONE short week!
