Engagement sessions are a great time out from wedding planning to celebrate this exciting adventure you’re about to embark on.When I first connected with Selayna + Casey, they shared that they loved being outdoors and were open to exploring new places!

Choosing a location for their engagement session

Being that they were open to new locations, my first thought was to explore locations along the Sea to Sky highway and recommended a few locations. 

Squamish caught their eye, and with it being at sea level, surrounded by beautiful mountains it seemed like a no-brainer.

How did you choose your location? Through you (Vanessa); you gave us some great options & we were so happy with our location!

How did you feel prior to the session? A little nervous/awkward but excited! 

Were there any unexpected moments or surprises during your session that stuck with you? How comfortable we felt with you/how easy & fun your instructions were; how beautiful the location was! 

Do you have a favourite moment from your engagement session? It was all amazing, but any moment that included Koda were my favourites & just getting to be all in love at our leisure. 

How did you feel during and after the session? Awesome, we felt invigorated, in love, excited and just grateful to have had the opportunity! 

Any advice for couples considering an engagement session? Consider what is most important to you - location, aesthetic, props, pets etc & incorporate it into your brainstorming. These are such special moments you get to capture & be able to remember/look back on for the rest of your life. 

Final thoughts about your experience that you’d like to share? Vanessa, you made us feel so comfortable, gave great, easy direction, and put a lot of thought into our vision/wants and it was all really fun and romantic because of you. Thank you so much
