Hi all!!
As you can see, I’ve updated my site. I still have a bunch or quirks to work out, namely image sizing, so the site is going to be a bit in flux over the weekend. Thanks for your patience!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Canada Day!
Hi all!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Canada Day!
It was the perfect day for a wedding. It had rained earlier in the week, and the Monday after, but on the day of, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.
Bobby and Kamilia were married at Furry Creek on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. They planned a fabulous day for their family and close friends that went off without a hitch. Jill, wedding coordinator extraordinaire, was on hand to make sure it went according to plan. Everything from putting the flowers in right place at the ceremony site, to fixing the train of Kamilia’s dress. The day went so smoothly, that their wedding ended up being AHEAD of schedule. I secretly believe it’s also due to the shared love Kamilia and I have for lists. And occasionally lists for our lists.
I could not have asked for a better couple to work with. So in love, relaxed and incredibly comfortable just being themselves made my job about 100 times easy. You guys are naturals and an absolute dream to work with!
Bobby and Kamilia – thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day!
Accept it. We all have fears. Some we can overcome, some we can’t.
Horror movies. Spiders. Eels. These are things I have learned to accept that I am, and will always be, afraid of. There’s no rhyme or reason. It’s just the way it is.
Street photography however, is a fear that I am trying to overcome. I find the art of street photography amazing, yet the actual doing is incredibly intimidating. I’m definitely not one of those people who can just go out and shoot everything and everyone in sight without permission. But I’m slowly learning to find the courage.
Whether I ask permission first, or forgiveness later, I’m still undecided. But what I have learned is that perhaps a new camera is in my future. One more conducive to street photography rather that my big DSLR!
Or maybe I just borrow Dennis’ X10.
I wish I had had the courage to wait until she looked up. Baby steps though right??
